Innovating in the energy industry, surface pressure control capabilities are industry-leading.<p><br></p><strong>Partner with the best</strong><p><br></p>As Workshop Wellhead Technician, you will play a vital role with our business by ensuring maintenance activities are carried out accordingly and safely to ensure compliance requirements.<p><br></p><strong>As a Workshop Wellhead Technician, you will be responsible for:</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li>Own the resolution of post-sales technical customer issues. Level 1,2,3 Technical Support – Resolves post sales Technical Issues. As the technical depth required to resolve an issue increases, the “level” of skill set increases. For some products 1 individual may handle levels 1,2 and 3 while for other products these may be separate individuals with increasing skill sets.</li><li>Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information.</li><li>Handles simple project processes. There are detailed guidelines for production and/or simple human interfaces requiring little technical knowledge. A framework of conditions is set.</li><li>Handles targeted clients. Contracts are predefined and a framework of conditions is set and followed.</li><li>Performing Receiving, cleaning, polishing, inspection, disassembly, Segregation, Repair, Assembly, pressure testing, FIT test, SIT test and housekeeping,</li><li>Reading and interpreting Drawing, assembly prints and parts lists to ensure accuracy and quality</li><li>Using measurement and gauging equipment to check and verify components</li><li>Performing wellhead assembly, maintenance, and overhaul on equipment to ensure safety and reliability</li><li>Ensuring maintenance activities are carried out accordingly and safely to ensure compliance requirements</li><li>Following up on work orders instructions for repair, assembly, disassembly and pressure testing</li><li>Preparing reports for the repaired and Pressure tested equipment</li><li>Coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence</li><li>Being able to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Fuel your passion</strong><p><br></p><strong>To be successful in this role you will:</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Services).</li><li>Have minimum of 3 years of experience working on Wellhead products, specifically in assembly, maintenance, repair, and pressure testing.</li><li>Have knowledge with API 6A standard.</li><li>Able to interpret and explain to technicians about Engineering drawing and VGS procedures,</li><li>Demonstrate a good aptitude and a keen desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills</li><li>Have excellent communication skills and be able to understand technical information and technical drawing in English</li><li>Demonstrate a working understanding of Database information Systems</li><li>Have the desire to become certified in forklift and overhead crane</li><li>Be able to be flexible with working patterns and shift rotations</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently.
