Job Description
Assemble from drawings, b.o.m.’s and assembly procedures with general supervision.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Not listed in any particular order)
- Proficient at interpreting drawings.
- Knowledge of complex hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Proficient with measuring instruments, hand and power tools, and measuring devices.
- Ability to rework complete product line.
- Communicates effectively with Production, Engineering and Test departments.
- Familiar with Operational Excellence Process Standards and Improvement.
- Contribute and assist in Lean and Kaizen implementation
- Ability to assemble complete product line with minimal support.
- Ability to mentor junior personnel and assist in coordination of mentor assignments
- Performs final inspection of all assemblies and documentations, when required.
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
- Understand and comply with all safety and environmental requirements and company policies of Weatherford.
- Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and company with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
Skills
- Functional English comprehension reading, writing and speaking
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in mechanical assembly and/or manufacturing.
- Basic computer skills.
- Advanced knowledge of product lines.
- Advanced knowledge and comprehension of mechanical drawings and b.o.m.’s.
- Familiar with manufacturing process
- Lean / Kaizen experience
