<p>Develops business through insurance adjusters, customers, and other sources to assure an adequate sales volume. Provides a reasonable department operating profit and maintains customer satisfaction standards while controlling expenses. Directs the activities of body shop employees in performing body repairs, including meeting time schedules and productivity levels and maintaining quality standards.</p><p><br></p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.</li><li>Hires, trains, motivates and monitors the performance of all body shop employees.</li><li>Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the body shop.</li><li>Directs and schedules the work of all body shop employees.</li><li>Establishes and maintains good working relationships with insurance adjusters.</li><li>Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.</li><li>Implements aggressive marketing plan to increase body shop business.</li><li>Monitors technicians’ daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.</li><li>Gives fair estimates on costs and time required for bodywork.</li><li>Follows up on parts department orders to ensure parts availability.</li><li>Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repair and safety procedures are followed.</li><li>Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.</li><li>Checks quality of completed work.</li><li>Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership’s guidelines.</li><li>Monitors paper flow to ensure that all documents are accounted for, filled out completely and legibly and filed or distributed to the appropriate parties.</li><li>Prepares final billing for completed repair orders.</li><li>Controls account receivables for body repair work.</li><li>Understands keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal etc.</li><li>Provides necessary training.</li><li>Ensures that proper safety equipment is available and being used properly.</li><li>Monitors the maintenance of paint booths, frame straightening equipment, and other large fixed assets to ensure long-term usage and value.</li><li>Keeps abreast of new equipment and tools available and recommends purchases.</li><li>Ensures that the work areas and customer waiting area are kept clean.</li><li>Attends manager’s meetings.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><u>Requirements:</u></p><ul><li>University Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.</li><li>7 years experience; 4 Years in a similar managerial role.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Experienced with people and performance management.</li><li>Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases.</li><li>High proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English.</li><li>Applications will be dealt with for those who meet the requirements of the job mentioned above.</li></ul>
