We are looking for people to join our team who embody these values.</p><p><br></p><p>Position Overview: As a Wellness Sports Manager at a prestigious ladies country club in Abu Dhabi, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage all aspects of the wellness and sports programs offered to club members. You will play a vital role in promoting an active and healthy lifestyle for the club’s female clientele. This position requires a deep understanding of wellness practices, a passion for sports, and excellent organizational and leadership skills.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><ol><li>Program Management:&nbsp;</li></ol><ul><li>Develop and implement a comprehensive wellness and sports program catering to the needs and interests of the club’s members.</li><li>Plan and coordinate a diverse range of fitness classes, sports activities, and wellness workshops.</li><li>Collaborate with fitness instructors, trainers, and wellness experts to ensure high-quality programs and services.</li><li>Monitor program effectiveness and member satisfaction, making adjustments as necessary.</li></ul><ol><li>Staff Supervision and Training:&nbsp;</li></ol><ul><li>Recruit, train, and supervise a team of fitness instructors, trainers, and wellness professionals.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide ongoing support, guidance, and performance evaluations to staff members.</li><li>Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.</li></ul><ol><li>Member Engagement:</li></ol><ul><li>Interact with club members to understand their fitness and wellness goals and provide personalised guidance and support.</li><li>Organize member events, tournaments and challenges to promote community engagement and active participation..</li><li>Respond to member inquires, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.</li></ul><ol><li>Facility Management:</li></ol><ul><li>Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of sports facilities, fitness studios, and wellness areas.</li><li>Ensure that equipment is in good working condition and arrange for repairs or replacements when necessary.</li><li>Collaborate with relevant departments to schedule facility usage and manage reservations effectively.&nbsp;</li></ul><ol><li>Budgeting and Reporting:</li></ol><ul><li>Develop and manage the department’s annual budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.</li><li>Prepare regular reports on program participation, financial performance, and member feedback for senior management.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Qualifications and Skills:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Recreation Management, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in managing wellness and sports programs, preferable in a country club or similar environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong knowledge of fitness training principles, wellness practices, and sports activities.</li><li>Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff and club members.</li><li>Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple programmes and activities simultaneously.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with diverse groups of people.</li><li>Proficiency in using computer software for program scheduling, data analysis and reporting.&nbsp;</li><li>Current certifications in relevant fitness and wellness disciplines (e.g., personal training, group fitness, yoga, etc.) are highly desirable.</li></ul><p><br></p>
