The Well Site Leader is responsible to plan, coordinate, supervise, and execute the well operations program. They provide clear leadership in every aspect of HSE protection, ensuring safe working practices are used at the well site. They further ensure that well operations are conducted safely, in accordance with the approved well operations program, and in compliance with the applicable policies/standards/procedures and the regulatory requirements within allocated time/costs with optimal use of resources. The position reports to the Superintendent.<br><br>Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams.<br><br><strong><u>Roles And Responsibilities<br></u></strong><ul><li> Organize and lead brief and debrief safety and operations meetings that are related to well operations.</li><li> Lead daily planning meetings and discuss operations with customer representatives, contractors, PL, and third-party supervisors.</li><li> Update forecast and planned activity to anticipate resource requirements meet well demands and provide optimum service efficiency.</li><li> Check that equipment and services comply with the contract.</li><li> Manage proper inventory of tangibles such as, but not limited to, cement, barite, bits, as well as rental equipment, and coordinate with PL OP and third-party suppliers as needed.</li><li> Ensure that operations are conducted to prevent risks of well control, stuck pipe, and any other project and operational risks.</li><li> Monitor well operational risks, implement risk responses, and execute change control per the project risk management plan and well operational programs.</li><li> Ensure compliance with Schlumberger policies and Integration PL standards, including standing orders.</li><li> Prepare detailed procedures for specific critical operations (running casing, cementing, etc.) and associated contingency plans.</li><li> Prepare daily cost estimates based on goods consumed and services provided.</li><li> Review and approve invoices and reports on services performed and materials used.</li><li> Manage and monitor operations communications with the goal of ensuring that stakeholders are kept informed and service providers are lacking any information that they need to perform their services.</li><li> Prepare technical and operational calculations relevant to the well- or rig-site operations (e.g., cement volume)</li><li> Participate in operational performance improvements and program changes with the project team.</li><li> Review operational problems and support job incidents, changes, incident response and recovery, including coordination with the individual PLs and key contractors.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Qualifications And Experience<br></u></strong><ul><li> Years of specific experience as Well Site Leader: 7+ years of relevant experience</li><li> Degree and qualification level: Any</li><li> Strong HSE skills and customer service skills.</li><li> Fluency in English.<br></li></ul>SLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
