The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are seeking an experienced Welding Specialist Engineer to join our Global Manufacturing Excellence Team within our Global Manufacturing Support Department (GMSD). GMSD is a multi-disciplinary organization with interface to technical, and in some cases business, support requirements of Domestic Refining &amp; NGL Fractionation Admin Area and This Company Affiliates. Its function caters mainly to the technical needs of Global Manufacturing, operating facilities management, and driving the performances of operating facilities in executing corporate programs and initiatives towards operational excellence and value creation. Your primary role will be to provide technical welding expertise and solutions to materials and welding issues in the refining, NGLF, and petrochemical plants.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide welding technical support during regular operation and turnarounds</li> <li>Review welding procedures for correctness of welding parameters and testing</li> <li>Analyze engineering design packages for welding requirements</li> <li>Utilize welding experience to improve welding repair procedures</li> <li>Manage and specify requirements for welder procedure qualifications</li> <li>Qualify new welding procedures for repairs if required</li> <li>Implement best-in-class solutions for welding activities in accordance with international and internal company standards</li> <li>Propose ideas and strategies for technological improvement and maintenance to support continuous improvement and collaboration.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field required</li> <li>Bachelor degree in Welding, Metallurgical, or Mechanical engineering required</li> <li>Certified Welding Engineer (CWEng) preferred</li> <li>Minimum 15 years of experience in materials and welding engineering discipline required</li></ul>
