<ul><li><span></span>Supervising welders at construction sites to ensure they are following safety procedures and using proper equipment</li><li>Coordinating with project managers to schedule welding activities</li><li>Inspecting welds for proper alignment and adherence to codes and standards</li><li>Ensuring that welders have appropriate safety equipment and training to perform their jobs safely</li><li>Preparing work orders for welding operations, including materials needed and desired end result</li><li>Determining welding processes based on material types and desired results</li><li>Performing welding tasks, such as setting up equipment and preparing welding rods, wires, or electrodes for use</li><li>Training new welders on proper techniques and safety precautions related to their jobs</li><li>Maintaining the quality of the welders’ work by inspecting completed projects</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Material specifications</p><p>ASME and AWS Codes / Specifications</p><p>Construction Phase Activities for both small and large projects</p><p>HSE procedures &amp; practices and compliance with relevant HSE policies</p><p>Safety</p><p>Welding and fabrication in a manufacturing environment</p><p>AWS &amp; API Codes</p><p>AWS D 15.1</p><p>Applicable welding code</p><p><br></p>
