<p>Qualifications</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role + Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and extend WordPress backends for custom website builds</li><li>Collaborate with the design and UX team to create dynamic, responsive websites</li><li>Interface with third-party APIs such as Google Maps and Salesforce</li><li>Work with account managers to develop estimates and ensure that deliverables are completed on time and within budget</li><li>Manage technical communications with account managers, ability to self-direct</li><li>Help maintain and improve internal projects such as build and deployment tools</li><li>Develop efficient process workflows, and ensure they are rolled out and standardized</li><li>Conducting website performance tests</li><li>Updating and troubleshooting content issues</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We’d Like To See:</strong></p><ul><li>You’re knowledgeable and articulate on IA and UX. You need to be skilled at recommending IA, UX, and UI improvements to designers. And at times, you’ll need to articulate your rationale for those to clients</li><li>You use a modern build workflow and tooling for your projects</li><li>Strong technical troubleshooting skills and comfort in tackling problems as they arise</li><li>Attention to detail</li></ul><p><strong>Required development skills include:</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of professional web development experience</li><li>WordPress custom theme/plugin development from scratch</li><li>PHP or similar object-oriented programming language</li><li>MySQL</li><li>Javascript / jQuery / ES6</li><li>SCSS</li><li>Linux Server Administration</li><li>Github and CI deployment experience</li><li>Tailwind, Bootstrap, and Zurb foundation</li><li>Familiarity with at least one Javascript framework (React, Vue.js, etc.)</li><li>CSS methodologies (OOCSS, BEM, SMACSS)</li></ul><p><strong>A plus to have:</strong></p><ul><li>Microsoft Azure experience</li><li>Command line tooling (such as Webpack or Parcel)</li><li>CI / Docker</li><li>Experience with E-commerce (WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.)</li><li>Familiarity with Drupal, Django, and other CMS platforms</li></ul>
