Lebanon’s Darkest Hour and Lebanon</strong>…<strong>Imprisoned Splendour</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p>It is establishing an arm in Beirut, Lebanon to undertake ongoing work that showcases factual, forceful and formidable storytelling about Lebanon and its people through the use of films, videos, digital content production and any other form or genre it so deems suitable.</p><p>DCI is a brand directly associated with the brands <strong>Daizy Gedeon</strong>, <strong>ENOUGH!</strong> and the mission of the <strong>Free and Fair Lebanon Foundation</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p><em>The Free and Fair Lebanon Foundation was created to restore, protect and preserve</em></p><p><em>faith and trust IN Lebanon and FOR Lebanon, and the rights of all its citizens to live</em></p><p><em>with dignity and a future with unlimited possibility and opportunity.</em></p><p><em>We aim to reclaim Lebanon’s noble mission as a unique symbol of ecumenical and</em></p><p><em>cultural synchronicity. A land where the human reigns supreme,</em></p><p><em>not the dollar, nor religion, nor status.</em></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for a <strong>full-time </strong>web developer to assist in overhauling our websites in line with our brand redevelopments. The position is project-based with the potential to turn into full-time. The key attribute we are looking for is an outstanding UI/UX web developer who is technically proficient in building E-Commerce websites but is also an SEO expert to assist with our websites’ traffic and growth in the long term. Most importantly, we are looking for a web developer with a passion for freedom, fairness, justice, and fighting for a better Lebanon.</p><p><strong>Immediate start.</strong></p><p><strong><em>Responsibilities:</em></strong></p><p>· Design and develop responsive websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies</p><p>· Collaborate with designers to ensure that websites are visually appealing and user-friendly</p><p>· Build and maintain WordPress and other CMS-based websites</p><p>· Develop custom themes and plugins for WordPress</p><p>· Perform website maintenance and updates, including backups, security checks, and plugin updates</p><p>· Troubleshoot website issues and bugs</p><p>· Keep up to date with new web technologies and best practices</p><ul><li>Be involved in the study, analysis, and implementation of project solution architecture</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Requirements:</em></strong></p><p>· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.</p><ul><li>3+ years of software engineering experience with a strong capability of building websites including E-Commerce sites in various languages including Open Source</li><li>Must have both front-end and back-end/full-stack experience</li><li>Have strong knowledge in both UX & UI design philosophies and now have to execute both</li><li><u>Must be</u> an SEO expert for websites and also social media platforms</li><li>Must be experienced in social media marketing (SMM) and paid advertising</li></ul><p>· Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery </p><p>· Experience working with WordPress and other CMS platforms</p><ul><li>Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations</li><li>Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue</li><li>Must be a team player</li><li>Must have strong ethics, <span>excellent attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues</span></li><li>Strong communication skills – written and verbal (English and Arabic proficiency)</li><li>Strong critical thinking and analytical skills</li><li>Available to start immediately</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
