Job Description

We are currently hiring for a Content Writer with minimum 3 years experience in content marketing. The candidate will be required to run the day-to-day creation and management of content marketing projects, content calendars, maintain the various company’s content (Owned, Earned and Paid Media) and measure the completion and effectiveness of various content marketing campaigns. The role will involve working with various companies across domains within the group. Experience of working with editorial or content is an added advantage.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and implement an effective content marketing strategy including setting objectives, auditing effectiveness, evaluating ROI, defining content types for brand storytelling and lead generation/conversion.
  • Plan and write engaging digital content to support the social media and online strategy, for each relevant audience and marketing channel (email, apps, website, landing pages, blogs, Facebook etc.) with the aim of driving acquisition and conversions.
  • Defining a content strategy for SEO and planning improvements across the website to boost awareness and visits. Optimize campaigns for SEO, develop content using keyword tools and develop metrics to show ROI.
  • Using Google Analytics and other measurement tools to review content and SEO effectiveness and develop tactics to improve performance. Use customer insight to monitor visitor engagement and change content in line with customer requirements.
  • Update online content via the content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms.
  • Develop testing models to ensure content is appropriate for target audience and provides a positive customer experience, in line with the CTAs or business goals
  • Liaise with external agencies and internal departments on digital marketing projects.
  • Ensure website content and content for apps is relevant and up to date.
  • Increasing awareness of the brand, product and services both internally and externally through outreach and social media amplification.
  • Create internal content, including presentations, emails, brochures and internal sales collateral.

Technical/Specific Experience

  • Digital channel experience (i.e. Facebook, Twitter LinkedIn, Instagram, discussion groups).
  • Knowledge of data analytics and processes.
  • Good understanding of online marketing techniques.
  • Video production experience.
  • Ability to interact with engaging content across social media, and can represent the company with the right messages.
  • Basic SEO knowledge.
  • Experience in using CMS system and uploading data.
  • Experience in writing for different audiences.
  • Experience in creating content for the web and growing a social audience.
  • Proven track record of delivering multi-level/channel initiatives and campaigns.
  • Good to have Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop, and CSS skills
  • Analytical skills including Google Analytics.
  • Experience working with Graphic Designers on infographics and interactive graphics.
  • Experience of social media listening tools and social media management tools
  • Understanding of user engagement and social media.
