Job Description
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline e.g. Engineering, etc.
- 3-5 years of operational and design experience in water sector
- Well-informed in water networks hydraulics and other design projects
- Knowledgeable of water network principles of operation
- Understanding of water system performance indications and measures to improve that performance
Skills
- Review of wastewater planning statements for 5 years.
- Review the performance reports of the recycled water companies.
- Ensure the compliance with the Regulations and relevant guides
- Ensure the compliance with the Water Tankering Regulations and relevant guides.
- Manage wa1stewater and recycled water supply related audits and other plans together with follow up .
- As part of the Water Regulation Section, oversee the performance and development of the Metering, and Codes, as well as other codes and licenses where necessary.
- Review and provide guidance to the development of technical standards, regulations and measures.
- Development of methodologies for assessment of relevant regulatory submissions for compliance purposes.
- Manage all related incidents and ensure coordinated follow up is implemented.
- Development of key performance indicators and monitor progress.
- Support the economics team in the Price Control and Technical Assessor Reviews. As well as the Capex reviews.
- Keep up-to-date with developments in the water transmission and distribution systems and provides appropriate input to the sector overall water network issues.
- Contribute to HSE issues arising with the Licensee in conjunction with the HSE Officer or Adviser.
- Perform any other duties that may occasionally be required by the department.
