The Warehouse Supervisor will be based at one of the Amentum sites in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for taking ownership of all Amentum warehouse services, including receiving, stocking, inventorying, issuing and shipment of goods. The Warehouse Supervisor will report to the Warehouse Manager or Logistics Manager. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.<br><br><strong><u>Duties<br></u></strong><ul><li>Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.</li><li>Comply with all Environmental Health &amp; Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.</li><li>Provide daily work assignments and supervises Logistics Warehouse persons.</li><li>Perform shipping and receiving functions.</li><li>Participate in inventory and cycle counts.</li><li>Coordinate and process all Return to Vendor damaged merchandise.</li><li>Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections.</li><li>Maintain an on-site inventory of supplies and materials to ensure timely response and completion of routine or emergency site repairs.</li><li>Ensure proper material controls are in place and operations are in compliance with established standard operating procedures (SOP), SOW, and Occupational, Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) standards.</li><li>Collect, analyze, and summarize data for report preparation and submits written reports.</li><li>Take initiative to analyze a situation and make frequent technical decisions based on SOPs and safety codes.</li><li>Work effectively with minimal supervision with a strong focus on procedural compliance and customer service.</li><li>Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Required<br></u></strong><ul><li>Minimum Acceptable Experience Level:</li><li>Three to five years’ progressive experience, including small staff management, in a high volume, multi-unit receiving/inventory or supply management environment.</li><li>Experience with supply chain management (SCM) systems particularly in relation to accurate inventory management.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to achieve high standards of customer service.</li><li>Experience and knowledge of materials-accountability, loss prevention, and logistical scheduling.</li><li>Working independently with various functions and disciplines of supply chain and operations.</li><li>Experience with analysis and research using the MS Office Suite of programs.</li><li>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</li><li>Knowledge of the FAR.</li><li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.</li><li>Understand how inventory affects company contractual obligations.</li><li>Knowledge of ALL principles and processes involved in operating and supporting supply chain functions at a large-scale overseas facility .</li><li>Ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner with Management and Department of State on a daily basis.</li><li>Able and willing to fill in for Warehouse Manager as needed.</li><li>Ability to work across various functions and disciplines of supply chain management (SCM) and operations.</li><li>Ability to demonstrate analytical and researching skills.</li><li>Ability to efficiently and effectively perform the technical requirements.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize effectively and work with a sense of urgency.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.</li><li>Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team.</li><li>Ability to be innovative and be an agent for change.</li><li>Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information.</li><li>Education: A high school diploma or GED.</li><li>Licenses and Certifications: Valid drivers’ license from Home of Record.</li><li>Security Vetting: Already possess a US Government issued security clearance or Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or be able to obtain a favorable MRPT certification or US Government clearance prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required certification or clearance level for the duration of the contract.</li><li>Language Skills: Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health, and security measures.</li><li>Medical: Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by Amentum and our customer for deployment to Iraq. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Desired<br></u></strong><ul><li>Knowledge of Cost Point and Maximo.</li><li>Previous out of home country experience and previous work experience in harsh environmental conditions are a plus.<br></li></ul>Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
