Overview

**This position is physically located in Qatar in support of LOGCAP**

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising daily operations ensuring safe and efficient storage, retrieval, and dispatch of supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

  • Supervises receipt of all shipments. Process receiving, discrepancy, and damage reports as needed.
  • Assumes responsibility for delivery of all items received by warehouse to proper section on a daily basis.
  • Evaluates complaints received on shipments of equipment and supplies and takes appropriate action.
  • Runs daily reports in MAXIMO and evaluates the stockage level and stock on hand to determine actions required.
  • Ensures locations are properly marked, matched and recorded in MAXIMO.
  • Supervise warehousing and storage of all supplies, equipment and consumable materials.
  • Initiate all purchase requests to keep stock items available at all times.
  • Develop and recommend procedures for orderly replacement of existing equipment as it becomes obsolete or deteriorates.
  • Participate in budget development and exercise budgetary control over warehouse operations.
  • Design, monitor, and maintain a safe working environment through compliance of safety programs.
  • Responsible for the compliance with safety regulations and collects and analyzes data, such as Assessment Surveys, Budgets, Training and Inspections.
  • Provide logistical planning support services and advice to section employees.
  • Aids in the Responsibility for staffing and review of personnel.
  • Interacts with the military, and other agency officials, both over the telephone and in person, in a professional and tactful manner.
  • Maintains and controls files for applicable correspondence, policies/procedures, reports, directives, and bulletins.
  • Provides assistance, direction, and information to employees and grantees as required.
  • Supports the achievement of LOGCAP metrics, whether metrics are directly or indirectly affected by this position’s work activities.
  • Tracks and maintains information with MWR Manager to ensure all daily, weekly, monthly slide, spreadsheets, and reports are maintained and produced in a timely manner while focusing on quality.
  • Works to achieve LOGCAP goals and contractual commitments.
  • Must be willing to work on holidays, short notices, all shifts, overtime and assigned to any location in Kuwait. Vacation scheduling will also be dictated by mission requirements and determined independent from spouse if applicable.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and host nation Driver’s License, is required.
    • CPR/AED and First Aid certification from a nationally/internationally accredited agency is required within 60 days of hire.
  • Experience:
    • One to three years experience with the Inventory Management of the Army Supply Systrem (IMASS) program preferred
    • Three to six years experience in warehouse/supply operations; with at least two years in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Must exhibit strong organization and communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to prioritize workload and responsibilities.
    • Detail-Oriented with a high degree of accuracy is required.
    • Must be capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbal and have a customer service background.
    • Supervisory/Budget Responsibilities:
    • Provides leadership, supervision, guidance, and direction to a multinational team in support of the LOGCAP mission.
    • May have budget responsibilities (APF & NAF) in coordination with the Warehouse Manager.
  • Working Conditions:
    • Works in a general office environment.
    • However, duties will involve the conduct of work in the outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions including frequent dust storms, and high temperatures – up to 130 degrees in the summer months.
    • Potential exposure to chemical or biological agents could exist.
    • Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain areas is required.
    • Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices.
    • Applicant must comply with all Fire, Safety and post policies.
    • Normal work week is 48 hours, but must be able to work overtime or nights as required.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Work may require heavy lifting up, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents
    • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
    • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
    • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
    • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
