Job Description

The Warehouse manager, is responsible for goods traceability, it includes but not limited to storing operational materials and suppliers, inventory record and control etc. in supplementary to loading, informing when reaching a minimum stock, labeling and delivering goods.

He/She is the first to follow on the good conditions on vehicle and company heavy materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

  1. Maintain and oversee inventory and supplies by receiving, storing and delivering items.
  2. Manage warehouse staff, vehicles and other equipment.
  3. Supervise daily warehouse activities, including employee’s safety.
  4. Suggest operational policies and procedures.
  5. Manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
  6. Inspect upon receipt and delivery all tools and machinery and inform regarding the defected for discard or outsourced maintenance in addition to consumables, detergents, equipment etc.
  7. Check stock against delivery authorization for agreement as to quantities, descriptions, sizes, conditions and conformance to items requirements.
  8. Motivate and discipline staff.
  9. Handle and store special stock items requiring special treatment which deviates from established storekeeping methods and which requires knowledge of stock characterized by susceptibility to spontaneous combustion, toxicity, fragility, rapid deterioration, contamination, ease of physical damage, etc.
  10. Conduct frequent physical counts while comparing them to the stock on the system.
  11. Quarterly management meeting.
  12. Manage the Basement 3 Floor in terms of authorized personnel, cleanness, safety, arrangement, etc…

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years proven experience in a warehouse managing position.
  • Familiar with warehouse and delivery software.
  • Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to deliver effective feedback.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Mathematical ability.
  • People management skills.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Initiative and decisiveness.
  • Knowledge in using light machinery that may include a forklift.
  • Plan future capacity requirements, estimate department needs.
  • Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of this job, including heavy work.
  • Work under-pressure.
