Our high-paced team of Designers, Copywriters, Video Editors and Strategists closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide first-class creative/strategic solutions to our portfolio of high-profile global clients through data-driven insights, creative-best-practice and our combined expertise in the industry.

The Role

The Video/Motion Graphics Editor will be responsible for delivering high quality and impactful video content for our clients.

Through close collaboration with the Associate Creative Director and the TEB team, the role requires the development of high-level creative concepts for design projects including branding, animations and infographics for video, print and social media outlets, that answer the brief, meet the client objectives and push the boundaries of creativity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide creative concepts and designs to the different campaigns for global clients.
  • Work closely with the team in Cape Town and globally to deliver on client briefs.
  • Assist with the artistic input and design for print materials, video contents and social media products for all TEB clients
  • Contribute to the organisations culture and ‘pool of experts’ locally and globally, for both the ENTERTAINER and the ENTERTAINER Business (but primarily for TEB)

Requirements

  • Qualification in Multi-Media/Motion Graphics/Video Editing/ Animation/Graphic Design (may be substituted with commensurate work experience
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in the relevant role and industry
  • A demonstrated working knowledge of experience design, brand, and the creative process
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, video editing and web limitations
  • Advanced knowledge in the up to date and relevant software

(Specifically, but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A team player, someone who collaborates well and who is also self-motivated and disciplined
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines in a high energy environment by utilising great time management and commitment to delivery
