Job Description:

Our client, a fast-growing organization in Dubai, is seeking a Vice President of Information Technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the organization’s technology strategy and ensuring that the company’s IT infrastructure and systems are operating effectively and efficiently. This is a senior-level executive position that requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of technical systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement the company’s technology strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives

– Lead the IT department and manage a team of professionals to ensure that all IT systems and infrastructure are operating efficiently and effectively

– Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all IT systems and applications, including hardware, software, and networking systems

– Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure that all systems are secure and compliant with regulatory requirements

– Manage the IT budget and ensure that all expenditures are aligned with business objectives

– Develop and maintain relationships with external technology vendors, partners, and contractors to ensure that the organization has access to the latest technology and solutions

– Ensure that the IT department is providing excellent customer service and support to all internal stakeholders, including senior executives, managers, and employees

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred

– At least 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful technology strategies

– Strong technical knowledge and expertise in IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, and security systems

– Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve organizational objectives

– Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
