PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As a Utility Houseperson, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create
WOW
memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clean carpet, upholstery, glass table tops, and windows; polish marble and rearrange furniture inside the guest rooms per guest request

Complete dusting of high/elevated areas

Pull bed out away from wall for dusting behind head board

Deliver variety of linen, including sheets, pillow cases and terry items to floors; and stock new linen in Guest Room Attendant locker rooms

Work with bonnet machine, extraction, and furniture cleaning machine (CFR) to remove stains from chairs, couches, etc.

Clean up bio hazard areas

General cleaning of guest rooms and hallways

Report torn carpet, wall finishes, and damaged furniture to be repaired

Clean all removable marks, dirt, and dust from baseboards

Bonnet 25 rooms and shampoo 15 rooms a day

Install and remove air purifier/ ozone machine following all safety standards

Perform other job-related duties as requested

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Familiarity with upholstery cleaning machine, wet vacuum, and vacuums

Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent

Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

PREFERRED:

Six (6) months of experience with maintenance on various floor surfaces using related cleaning, buffing, and extraction equipment

Six (6) months of experience in general cleaning

Knowledgeable of basic cleaning chemicals and equipment
* Experience working in a similar resort setting
