UI/UX Designer
Job Description
<p>As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and visual design of our e-commerce platform and applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the customer journey. </p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>A glimpse of your typical workday</em></strong></p><ul><li>Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts and user interactions.</li><li>User Interface Design: Develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications, considering branding guidelines, usability best practices, and responsive design principles.</li><li>Information Architecture: Structure and organize the website and app content, ensuring intuitive navigation, findability, and logical information hierarchy.</li><li>Interaction Design: Define and design user interactions, including micro-interactions, animations, and transitions, to create engaging and seamless user experiences.</li><li>Visual Design: Create high-fidelity visual designs, including icons, typography, color schemes, and graphics, that align with the brand identity and evoke positive emotions.</li><li>Collaboration and Feedback: Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather feedback, iterate designs, and ensure alignment with business goals and technical constraints.</li><li>Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design decisions, identify areas for improvement, and gather user feedback for continuous refinement.</li><li>UI/UX Guidelines: Establish and maintain UI/UX design guidelines, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across the e-commerce platform.</li><li>Accessibility: Ensure that UI/UX designs meet accessibility standards and guidelines, making the platform inclusive and usable for users with disabilities.</li><li>Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated with the latest trends, emerging design patterns, and best practices in UI/UX design within the e-commerce industry, and conduct a competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em>What will make you stand out</em></strong></p><p><strong><em><span class=”ql-cursor”> </span></em></strong></p><ul><li>5 years of experience in a similar position. </li><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field. A relevant diploma or certification may also be considered based on experience and skills.</li><li>Experience: Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of UI/UX design projects for web and mobile applications.</li><li>Design Tools: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, or similar software.</li><li>User-Centered Design: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing methodologies, and interaction design patterns.</li><li>Visual Design Skills: Excellent visual design skills, including a keen eye for aesthetics, typography, color theory, and graphic design principles.</li><li>Wireframing and Prototyping: Proficiency in creating wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.</li><li>Responsive Design: Familiarity with responsive design principles and the ability to create designs that adapt seamlessly across different screen sizes and devices.</li><li>Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into effective UI/UX designs.</li></ul><p> </p><p><em>Interested in growing your career with us?
