Transportation Manager

Provides leadership and guidance to all Transportation personnel. Coordinates and recommends all department improvements to better utilize assets and personnel where needed. Monitors and calculates equipment requirements to maintain budget status. Advises and coordinates with the customer on transportation issues and to monitor their satisfaction. Initiates procedures to better track all missions, driverÆs performance, maintenance and accountability of everything that is transported. Typically requires 5-10 years experience in Logistics and Transportation with some experience in accounting and administration preferred.
