<strong>Job Title:</strong> <strong>Transport</strong> <strong>Coordinator<br><br></strong><strong>Location:</strong> Abu Dhabi<br><br><strong>Experience:</strong> 2-5 year of experience<br><br><em><strong>Education</strong></em><strong>: </strong>Bachelor’s degree<br><br><strong><u>General Summary<br><br></u></strong>Ensure proper transport Vehicle Inbound and Out bound data is maintained<br><br>Ensure proper vehicle procedures and vehicle maintenance and repair as and when due.<br><br>Inspect vehicles for compliance with maintenance requirements and ensure all vehicles are in good condition and reports of any damage are made by the driver concerned.<br><br>To keep a track of the 100% vehicle utilization, communicate with the line manager in case vehicle is fully utilized.<br><br>Ensure the underutilized vehicle is combined on same route to save cost on Fleet.<br><br>Uploading the POD of the non-fresh in the share folder so that every cross functional department can get the data.<br><br>Coordinating with customer and 3pl transportation for the loading and offloading of the trucks.<br><br>Prepare timely reports of vehicle movement, fuel consumption, maintenance, accidents, and other fleet related issues<br><br>Coordinate with the drivers and ensure the trucks reach customer locations, distribution centers and packhouses within the agreed time limit in order to fulfil all sales and supply demands.<br><br>Ensure compliance with rules and policies for fleet management<br><br>Apply for Road permits access online and follow up with all parties to obtain valid Road permits<br><br>Report any defect, hazard or near miss in the workplace which might endanger food safety, health & safety, and environment and stop work if any hazard posing risk to Food Safety and HSE is identified.
