Synopsis
The Training Manager’s primary responsibility is the management of a team of workplace trainers to design and deliver training and assessment in the classroom and workplace environment as required by EASG and stakeholders. Further responsibilities for the role will be to contribute to the ongoing development of training/assessment resources to respond to changing operational, industry and regulatory requirements.
Accountabilities
- Manage a team of workplace trainers to deliver high quality training and assessment in the classroom and workplace environment
- Plan and manage the design and development of training programs to meet stakeholder requirements
- Provide subject matter expertise input to the design and development of designated technical training content and learning resource materials for ongoing delivery of training and assessment
- Liaise with stakeholders to identify and meet training requirements within operational constraints
- Ensure the accurate and timely recording and reporting of all training and assessment documentation in line with business and quality requirements
- Collaborate with Workplace Trainers, Workplace Coaches, Subject Matter Experts and Line Managers to ensure effective on job training, coaching and assessment of learners against competency standards
- Maintain own subject matter expertise and training and assessment competencies
Education & Experience
- Training-related Qualification (Degree or Diploma)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of training management in the aviation industry (Ground Operations)
