<p>We are searching for a proactive professional who is passionate about assisting trainees as they progress</p><p>through their academic journey, from new trainee orientation to graduation. To ensure that trainees are</p><p>progressing towards their goals, the Trainee Advisor will communicate regularly with trainees, maintain</p><p>records of their performance, and intervene if declines in grades or attendance occur. They will</p><p>therefore work very closely with all the academic departments. Ideal candidates will be caring,</p><p>organized, communicative, and accessible.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p> Overseeing new trainee orientation.</p><p> Monitoring and evaluation of individual trainee academic progress.</p><p> Compiling Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for trainees where appropriate.</p><p> Discussing career and educational goals with trainees.</p><p> Displaying an interest in trainee development in general.</p><p> Maintaining updated reports on trainee progress.</p><p> Intervening if behavioral or academic abnormalities occur.</p><p> Advancing trainee retention (devise strategies together with academic departments).</p><p> Connecting trainees with resources, such as counselors or tutors.</p><p> Demonstrate a strong understanding of institutional policies.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p><p> Bachelor’s degree related to Education, Educational Psychology, etc. Master’s degree is</p><p>preferred.</p><p> Experience in student counseling/development/advising, or related field.</p><p> Bilingual: English and Arabic.</p><p> Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</p><p> Computer literacy skills.</p><p> Ability to maintain accurate and updated records concerning trainee performance.</p><p> Understanding of institutional policies, procedures, and resources.</p><p> A desire to help trainees in their academic journey, from enrollment to graduation.</p>
