<p><strong>Market Overview + Insights</strong></p><ul><li>Visit key markets- monitor and present progress on a monthly basis</li><li>Monitor market trends and identify potential areas of opportunities within the GEMCO Portfolio</li><li>Identify competitors and growing trends in each market</li><li>Coordinate with and assist the BDMs with their trade marketing requirements</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Brand Strategy</strong></p><ul><li>Seamlessly execute trade marketing plans and key initiatives to deliver against brand, financial and shared objectives</li><li>Co-ordinate with Brand Managers on planning and implementation of events/PR activities</li><li>Help develop market/channel strategies and brand plans that create a sustainable competitive advantage for the GEMCO brands</li><li>Sourcing and collaborating with agencies in order to develop assets in accordance with our brand guidelines (POS materials, consumer premiums for promotions, materials for events, materials for sales teams, planograms)</li><li>Working with BDMs to identify required assets (as itemized above) for their respective markets</li><li>Track and report portfolio and competitor pricing architectures by channel</li><li>Support category/product price increase initiatives to support pricing strategies, profitability targets and share objectives</li><li>Provide guidance and help budget trade spend by activity</li><li>Improve the ROI of trade promotion spending</li><li>Budget, create and execute promotional programs to drive awareness, trial and loyalty</li><li>Direct agency partners and manage internal resources in the development of promotional vehicles, POS, sales collateral</li><li>Manage the production of tools to sales that clearly communicate a point of differentiation and ensure that a consistent message is conveyed in the market</li><li>Understand how to use E-Commerce and connect to different stakeholders (Platforms, distributors and sales team) and Brand team to drive this forward</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Brand Performance tracking and analysis</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor and report on product distribution: numeric and weighted</li><li>Analyze IMS and shipment data and compare results to established objectives to assure the effectiveness of trade marketing programs</li><li>Develop reports using Nielsen data, IMS data, EPOS data and competitive intelligence to assess market opportunities</li><li>Maintain a professional system for all files and brand data, including a promotional calendar (by channel, by account)</li><li>Ensure receipt and consolidate analytical reports from all regions – where applicable (pricing, competitor promotions)</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Desired Profile</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business and/or BSc in Business Management</li><li>5+ years previous experience working for a larger/similar FMCG/Blue Chip Company in a Trade Marketing Role or Sales Management Position. </li><li>Arabic is a must</li><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>Regional experience. KSA trade experience is a plus</li><li>Excellent planning and organizational skills, including communication skills (written and verbal) – able to deal with adversity and ambiguity – open to different culture and comfortable to navigate them</li><li>Open to travel within the assigned region (KSA and Levant)</li></ul><p></p>
