Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for the safety, availability and comfort of the track by ensuring the reliability of maintenance operations. 
Manage technicians and operators under his responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Guarantee the sustainability of the installations of the Metro L3 network (Tracks and Workshops). 
• Guarantee railway safety and the sustainability of installations 
• Guarantee the proper technical progress of corrective and cyclical maintenance projects 
• Ensure communication (internal and external) with all stakeholders 
• Perform related duties as assigned by Track Manager 
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures 
• Ensure the safety of agents by enforcing safety instructions on a site 
• Organize, plan, control and adapt the activity of your team 
• Participate in the training of the agents of his team 
• Support the strategic orientations of the company 
• Control the economic impacts of a maintenance activity 
• Guarantee the completion of maintenance worksites and track inspection 
• Ensure the logistics of maintenance worksites 
• Participate in the coordination of maintenance worksites between night and day team 
• Ensuring continuity of service 
• Ensure knowledge of the condition of the track (including analysis of reports) 
• Carry out inventories of online stocks and equipment (only at night) 
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service 
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mechanical or civil engineer.

KNOWLEDGE:
• Know the technology of the Metro track
• Know the constraints related to the operation of the lines
• Know Track Maintenance
• Know distressing process
• Knowing how to manage an emergency intervention
• Know how to read and interpret readings from measuring vehicles
• Know the methods of site planning
• Knowing how to ensure the conduct of work on operated and unoperated track
• Know how to use a CMMS software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and 
external customers
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)

EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years’ relevant experience in track maintenance 
• Have an experience in the change management culture
