Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE:
It is primary responsibility of the Ticketing Representative to perform a variety of duties including ticket sales to all properties, for internal shows, events, exhibits, and attractions. The Representative will provide exceptional guest service, exceed guest expectations, cash handling, and service recovery.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sell tickets, upsell, cross sell and process ticket orders, will call for shows, events, exhibits, and attractions for all properties utilizing prompt and courteous service to all guests
Perform ticket verification prior to entry into exhibit and events
Provide educated answers to guest questions, and able to furnish detailed information regarding property facilities and services
Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority
Utilize and balance a cash drawer and ticket sales with various tender types
Interpret and operate numerous computer and ticketing systems with accuracy
Answer multi-line telephones using proper etiquette
Other job-related duties as requested
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
Effectively manage multiple tasks under pressure of deadlines in fast pace environment
Able to take initiative and exhibit flexibility
Effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
PREFERRED:
High school diploma or equivalent
Six (6) months experience with customer service and cash handling
Ticketing experience
* Experience working in a similar resort setting
