The Therapist II – Respiratory possesses intermediate-to-expert knowledge of Pediatric and/or Neonatal cardiopulmonary anatomy and physiology. S/he has intermediate-to-expert knowledge and clinical acumen in the use of all medical devices and techniques used in respiratory therapy for the Pediatric and/or Neonatal patient population. S/he demonstrates intermediate-to-advanced level professional skills relevant to patient assessment, disease identification and evaluation, and administration of clinical therapeutic, interventional, and diagnostic care. Highly Specialist Pediatric Physiotherapist (Physical Therapist II) We are looking for an experienced pediatric physiotherapist to join our Physical Therapy service. This is a lead role in acute inpatient pediatric neuro-rehabilitation and developmental assessment and intervention. The successful candidate will have current experience working within a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and/or inpatient trauma ward, with demonstrated experience in infant and children’s normal and abnormal development and rehabilitation following acute injury. Evidence of experience in developing and leading a specialist area of physiotherapy is highly desirable. The Clinical Nurse Leader demonstrates clinical expertise, strong leadership and collaborative skills in interactions with staff and members of the healthcare team. The Clinical Nurse Leader supports the Clinical Nurse Manager in leading, precepting and mentoring the nursing and midwifery staff as clinical expert in a unit/service. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for competently providing safe and effective direct care. The Clinical Nurse assesses care needs, plans, implements and evaluates programs of care to include patients and families. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard, aligned to Sidra Standards of Practice.
