Job Description
<p>The Territory General Accountant will be responsible to handle, manage and monitor all related accounting transactions on the relevant territory.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>1. Handle data entry of petty cash expenses and prepare payment requests into ERP.</p><p>2. Petty cash management – Compute, classify, and summarize petty cash expenses, reimbursements, claims, disbursement, etc. to make sure payment amounts, records, and supporting documents are correct.</p><p>3. Ensure the timely receiving of inventory items in ERP by the warehouse team and follow up on whether all related supporting documents are submitted in ERP.</p><p>4. Participate in the inventory stock count “annually / surprise”.</p><p>5. Review and reconcile the “Cash, MADA, and Aggregators” amounts included in the closing report received from general cashiers and ERP.</p><p>6. Prepare accounting reports on a periodic basis.</p><p>7. Ensure all accounting duties are in compliance with the company’s Financial policies and reporting standards.</p><p>8. Maintain a proper filing system for all related accounting documents including uploading the supporting documents into the ERP.</p><p>9. Perform any other ad-hoc account-related tasks as assigned</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>· A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.</p><p><strong>Requirements and </strong><strong>Skills </strong></p><p>· A minimum of 3 years of related work experience in a similar position.</p><p>· A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology in the workplace.</p><p>· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.</p><p>· Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.</p><p>· Strong verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated capacity to interact with people at all levels of the organization.</p><p>· Attention to detail is a must.</p><p>· The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a multicultural environment and to cope with pressure in a positive manner while working to deadlines within a busy and demanding environment.</p><p>· A demonstrated willingness to engage in professional development activities to develop and improve new and current skills, and to adapt to the organization’s evolving needs.</p><p> · <span>Travel to the head office in Riyadh to attend meetings, workshops, and conferences as required.</span></p><p><span>must speak and write Arabic and English</span></p>
