To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E<p><br></p><strong>What Youβll Do</strong><ul><li>As leader of a team of specialists for reviewing and responding to tenders, act as single point contact to the wider Design and Bid organization to ensure tenders are responded to professionally to a high qualtiy standard and meeting agreed timelines. </li><li>Manage the team and ensure work flows match prioritizations based on commitments. </li><li>Own the quality of tender responses for all aspects (technical and commercial). </li><li>Builds processes and developes people and methods. </li><li>Reports and communicates well within the team and out to the broader organization. </li><li>Planning and Organizing: As the key point of contact, the leader is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive plan for the tendering process and organizing the team’s efforts to ensure that all aspects of the process are effectively managed.</li><li>Managing the Team: Develop and motivate direct reports through goal setting, development plans, performance reviews and ongoing monitoring of performance.</li><li>Meet Timelines and Quality needs on Tenders: The leader owns that for each stage of a tender, timelenes and qualty of response is maintained.</li><ul><li>Kickoff: Review of Tender and ensure meets go/no-go before going too far.</li><li>Tender Build: All technical, commerical, and other aspects reviewed. CDE completed, project plan including revenue built and maintained throughout.</li><li> Handover: Formal review of financial and technical scope, timelines, risks and opportunities and all key documents handed over to execution team.</li><li> Post order: Support where needed for clairfication. Gather learning from actual projects to feedback for continuous improvement.</li></ul><li>Stakeholder engagement: Develop a system to identify and track work to be done on each tender and regular reviews / reporting out (via PowerBI) such that cadence of bid response is maintained and timelines met. </li><li>Compliance: The leader owns that all tender responses comply to Eaton standards and exceptions are noted and going through the proper approvals. </li><li>Reporting and Communication: The leader will provide a monthly report out for management and key stakeholders on the performance of the team including any roadblocks and key metrics. </li><li>Continuous Improvement: The leader should continually work / support to improve the tendering process. This includes identifying and tracking key performance indicators.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><ul><li>Minimum BSc preferably electrical or equivalent gained through experience </li><li>Formal Project certification highly desired. (eg. PMP, Prince 2, ITIL)</li><li>Years and area of experience required:</li><ul><li>5+ years or more of Eaton or similar equipment.</li><li>5+years of managing teams and/or major projects</li></ul></ul><p><br></p><strong>Skills</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Management skills: Individual goal setting and development, adherence to key task deadlines and quality. </li><li>Stakeholder management with strong collaboration, interpersonal, and influencing skills – Able to keep cool under pressure, but tenatious to get things done.</li><li>Track record of achieving targets and objectives – Able to keep others on track with works in a coordinated and respectful way.</li><li>Other: Financial acumen; problem solver, fluent English. Intercultural awareness and previous experience managing people in complex organizations a plus.</li></ul>
