Your Mission

This position is part of a service activity at the Schneider-Electric installed base on ships in the merchant and military navy. It completes a multidisciplinary Marine Business team.

Scope & Environment:

This team is structured around:
· Business managers (BM): in front office, salespeople in direct contact with customers.
· ISSR: in the back office, processing the flow of simple offers, in punctual contacts with customers.
· Tender Manager (TM): in the back office, responding to requests from business managers. The TMs oversee the production of commercial and technical offers.

Your Role – Magic happens when you bring great people together!

The TM ensures the realization of technical and commercial offers services, following four distinct phases:
– The technical definition: The TM can work in total autonomy if he is competent in this field or request a Technical Leader to establish the most suitable solution to meet the customer’s needs.
– Costing the solution: The TM works with our costing tools and compiles cost and margin information in Excel.
– The drafting of the offer: the TM prepares the commercial offer based on pre-established documents (template s) in Word. Offers are made mainly in English (70%).
– Upon receipt of the order, the transfer of the file to the operations.
The coordination of these activities is carried out under BFO. The BM solicits the TM via SRs (Service Requests)
The equipments relative to those offers are essentially that of:
Low and medium voltage electrical distribution (Masterpact, HTA cells, dry transformer, protection relay …). Industrial automation. Inverters. The variation of speed.
The Tender Manager reports hierarchically to the Marine Business Director and works in support of the Marine Business Managers. This position will be in our team in New Cairo.

Qualifications

About You
Education: University Msc/Bsc Electrical Engineering Degree
Language requirements:
Fluent in English French language will be valuable
Experience:
· The TM works within a sales team with a strong technical dimension: It is necessary to have good technical competences on the equipment concerned.
· As part of its mission, the TM must be a force of proposal on possible optimization of processes
Skills requirements
Good communication, develop team spirit, and have confirmed notions in financial and contractual management.
