Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide<br><br>To take responsibility for Telecommunications System related engineering issues including the following systems:<br><ul><li> On Board Communication</li><li> Radio</li><li> Broad Band Radio System</li><li> Telephone</li><li> CCTV</li><li> Public Information System</li><li> Public Address</li><li> Multi-Service Network</li><li> Clocks</li><li> Video & Voice Recording System</li><li> SCADA<br><br></li></ul><strong>Responsbilities:<br></strong><ul><li> Manage safety systems and processes. </li><li> Manage quality systems and processes together with QA. </li><li> Conduct accident/safety investigations. </li><li> Establish useful life of Telecommunications System & various wayside equipment and a replacement program for assets through analyzing the maintenance management information system. </li><li> Conduct trend analysis to determine performance requirements improvements of assets. </li><li> Provide updated maintenance practices and strategies. </li><li> Manage the configuration management information for the assets. </li><li> Determine the most cost-effective strategy that has minimal negative impact on safety and quality. </li><li> Provide inputs for the maintenance budget. </li><li> Lead the FRACAS process. </li><li> Investigate and analyze equipment failure trends and condition monitoring in order to improve maintenance performance and cost-effectiveness. </li><li> Review component failure data to identify trends, take ownership of specific components failure modes and proposing mitigating actions / solutions. </li><li> Propose corrective actions to eliminate failure trends. </li><li> Provide Field Maintenance Engineering and direction in support of the delivery of cost-effective maintenance plans and reliability growth. </li><li> Liaise with production team, analyzing information (doing root cause analysis) </li><li> Establish, update and maintain maintenance manuals and drawings. </li><li> Evaluate proposals and changes and determine impact on cost, safety, quality and other areas. </li><li> Raise change request and liaise and consult with various stakeholders and design authorities for approval. </li><li> Conduct regular technical audits to ensure compliance to standards and specifications. </li><li> Report on findings, making recommendations and suggestions for improvement. </li><li> Liaise with relevant Group stakeholders (e.g., OEM, design authorities, infrastructure manager) to determine compliance to standards. <br><br></li></ul><u> <strong> Qualifications: </strong> <br></u><ul><li> Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering <br><br></li></ul><u> <strong> Experience: </strong> <br></u><ul><li> At least 7 years’ relevant experience in Signalling System / Railway Industry. </li><li> Signalling System Design Experience is plus. </li><li> Fluent in Arabic & English Language. <br><br></li></ul><u> <strong> Knowledge: </strong> <br></u><ul><li> Telecommunications System </li><li> Safety Management </li><li> Advance technical knowledge </li><li> Document Review cycles </li><li> Advance technical knowledge </li><li> EAM such Maximo/ GIS <br><br></li></ul>Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrow’s mobility.
