Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs of equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair various systems on construction and heavy equipment by using mechanical and electronic special tools.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions in the equipment, recommend for parts and carry out repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance services, check and carry out adjustments and maintain related fluid levels.
  • Upkeep of special tools, equipment and work area clean, organized and in good working condition.
  • Assist and train lower level staff in mechanical repair techniques.
  • Perform additional related work assigned.
  • Machine detail inspection and troubleshooting of the machine systems.
  • Write technical report as per the failure to be presented internally or to customer.
  • Use repair manuals to repair / diagnose the machine problem
  • List the required parts to ensure the repair completion as per the principal recommendation.
  • List the other requirement for the repair like lubrication, outside services etc.
  • Discuss the repair duration and repair plan with supervisors
  • Ensure that the estimated repair parts or other charges are within quoted amount.
  • Ensure that the quality of work is at the highest level to avoid redo.
  • Insure a good working relation with manager and other company team mate.
  • Insure to demonstrate the health and safety laws as per the company policy.
  • Responsible to maintain the workshop tools and machine service manual.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • Qualifications: A High School Diploma
  • Experience : Minimum 3 years experience in related field.
  • Skills :
    • Ability to effectively accomplish diverse skilled work in the repair and maintenance of district appliances and facilities
    • Ability to carry out operations safely and efficiently; utilize diverse assigned appliances and tools
    • Effectiveness in prioritizing assigned duties and evaluating the work of personnel.
