<p><strong>Overall Purpose of the Role: Defines why the role exists</strong>: As a Technical Trainer the role holder develops, plans, and delivers electric vehicle technical training, effectively training all new and existing technical professionals in-house and with external partners such as distributors and customers. The trainer assesses technician needs, defines competence gaps, develops competence development plans, and monitors and records their results and development.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Adapt and develop training concepts for EV vehicles according to Principal/ OEMs, and regional standards.</li><li>Deliver engaging and effective training that results in successful outcomes for delegates from partners and distributors in-house and external facilities for engineers and drivers in the EV industry with thorough knowledge of operating procedures for driving and maintaining electric vehicles and their electrical systems.</li><li>Organize a training calendar per quarter and formalize announcements for planned internal and external training.</li><li>Deliver EV familiarization throughout the business vertical and trainees.</li><li>Develop new training content and processes for each new vehicle type.</li><li>Liaising with the Head of Product to collect detailed user manuals from OEMs to ensure a thorough understanding of the product</li><li>Test the EV functionalities based on the user manual to validate the information in the manual.</li><li>Investigate and resolve driver issues with the new EV.</li><li>Facilitate practical, oral assessments to ensure regional standards and ethical processes are followed.</li><li>Complete relevant administration within given timescales, including written assessment reports, marking, assessment documentation, delegate satisfaction results, and any others required.</li><li>Work with the R&amp;D and testing team to evaluate and modify training and development solutions in response to delegate satisfaction and key stakeholder feedback.</li><li>Report any accidents or incidents according to procedures.</li><li>Ensure technical information is archived, organized, and kept constantly updated by way of self-learning and company-supported resources.</li><li>Maintains an updated curriculum database and training records.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Skills:</p><ul><li>Excellent presentation and communication skills</li><li>Passionate about electromobility and energy transition</li><li>Flexibility: the candidate should be able to adapt to changing business needs and be flexible with working hours to sometimes accommodate training programs for different time zones.</li><li>Language skills: fluency in English is a must, and Arabic is a merit.</li><li>Willingness to travel as required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 3-5 years in related field as a training manager developing and delivering technical training programs.</li><li>Experience in working with automotive distributors and dealerships</li><li>Proven ability to work independently and with others</li><li>Able to nurture talent, manage complex human relationships, and be culturally sensitive</li><li>MS Office is highly capable.</li><li>Familiar with e-learning platforms and industry-leading competence development methods</li></ul><p><br></p><p><span>Like a challenge?
