This is an excellent opportunity to drive a dynamic business with huge growth potential.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Manage maintenance, modification, and vessel outfitting budgets, including cost allocation and accurate cost estimation for project(s) and vessel owners.</li><li>Ensure repair, maintenance, and outfitting projects are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with environmental standards. Supervise the vessel outfitting, maintenance, or repair team.</li><li>Coordinate statutory surveys with classification authorities and maintain vessels and equipment up to the respective Class standards. Ensure full compliance of equipment certifications according to statutory and Class requirements.</li><li>Provide accurate reporting on maintenance, modifications, and repairs. Regularly update technical files in accordance with international regulations and project requirements.</li><li>Maintain equipment history and Implement actions based on lessons learned within the Equipment Department.</li><li>Collect relevant information and prepare an activity list for repair/modification projects.</li><li>Ensure repair and maintenance projects are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with environmental standards. Supervise the vessel mobilization, maintenance, or repair team.</li><li>Tender and negotiate with repair facilities. Identify, organize, and follow up on subcontractors, materials, and personnel required for vessel mobilizations, outfitting, or repairs.</li><li>Coordinate a multidisciplinary team to ensure the availability of the right resources and foster effective communication among team members.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills / Qualification / Experience:</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li>Higher Professional Education (bachelor) in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Maritime Engineering.</li><li>Experience in the operation of Offshore Vessels, including familiarity with the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) process.</li><li>4 years of experience as Chief engineer (Class-1 COC) in offshore vessels, DP-2, DP-1, AHTS, OSV, High speed crew boats, PSC, Utility, Landing crafts</li><li>Thorough understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements for marine assets.</li><li>Excellent command of written and spoken English, Computer skill</li><li>Strong team player with problem-solving skills and resilience.</li><li>Effective communication skills and ability to take initiative.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Type of Employment:</strong> Permanent / Full time</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> Up to AED 20- 30K/Month / up to USD 8,000/month</p><p><br></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>What you can expect from the employer </strong></p><ul><li>An attractive tax-free salary.</li><li>Paid annual vacation</li><li>Annual air ticket (wife &amp; up to 2 kids).</li><li>Health insurance for self and family (wife &amp; 2 kids).</li><li>A clean and hygienic environment.</li><li>Working with decent / highly educated professional team.</li></ul>
