Advanced seeds<p><br></p>help mitigate risks such as disease and<p><br></p>drought and allow farmers to grow food<p><br></p>using less land, less water and fewer<p><br></p>inputs.<p><br></p>Syngenta Seeds brings farmers more<p><br></p>vigorous, stronger, resistant plants,<p><br></p>including innovative hybrid varieties and<p><br></p>biotech crops that can thrive even in<p><br></p>challenging growing conditions.<p><br></p>Syngenta Seeds is headquartered in the<p><br></p>United States.<p><br></p><strong><u>Job Description</u></strong><p><br></p><strong>Role purpose </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Develop strategic relationship with Exporters, processors, projects, trader and wholesalers.</li><li>Accelerate product introduction, promotion and demand creation for both new and existing VEG SE specialist varieties in order to boost the sales.</li><li>The assigned VEG crops (Tomato, Pepper, GH Cucumber, and specialist).</li><li>Organize Demo trials / follow up trials execution at Customer level to create product awareness that best fit customer needs.</li><li>Support the work of the Sales & Marketing and CU teams by providing them with sufficient technical information on the product behavior.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Accountabilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Identify opportunities within his region in Egypt and incorporate into the growth and development of the company in export and specialist market.</li><li>Generate customer demand for VEG seeds relevant to the assigned geography of responsibility to support the commercial team in achieving or exceeding their sales VEG SE targets.</li><li>Identifies customer needs and will identify resources to ensure successful outcome.</li><li>Ensure demo field trials are executed and visited by customers for pre-commercial and commercial varieties in alignment with campaign plans.</li><li>Provides feedback from Demo trials to the R&D trialing officer.</li><li>Oversee the performance of the pipeline with Trialing officers and the Product manager by regular visits.</li><li>Support new product launches, execute the campaigns by delivering the key messages and promo materials to customers.</li><li>Be the technical reference for the assigned VEG crops: provide technical support on varieties to customers and CU sales team + Key account manager (trial visits, presentation, and technical document).</li><li>Provide agronomic solutions & advice to the customers and prospects.</li><li>Collect market/competitor information (market intelligence) and information on varieties performance and provide them to Sales manager, Key account manager and Product managers required for the commercial success.</li><li>Handle the technical side of the customer’s complaints and resolved in a timely manner.</li><li>Key interfaces: Sales manager, KAM, PMs, Trialing officers.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><strong>Critical success factors & key challenges</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Highley sales skills with passion for Veg seeds sales.</li><li>Technical/Market knowledge of the Veg Seeds in Export and specialist market.</li><li>Demand generation at grower level.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities</u></strong><p><br></p>Critical knowledge and experience<p><br></p><ul><li>Agricultural university degree</li><li>With strong agronomic and sales experience in VEG, above 5 years of work experience</li><li>Some marketing experience could be a plus</li><li>Good knowledge of the Vegetables Seeds market and customer needs</li><li>Basic to intermediate English language</li></ul><p><br></p>Critical technical and professional capabilities<p><br></p><ul><li>Understand customer needs</li><li>Understand market dynamics and competitive environment</li><li>Strong agronomic seeds background & experience</li><li>Deep understanding of product behavior and performance</li><li>Very good communication and presentation skills</li><li>Good sales influence skills</li><li>Develop/deliver innovative, customer-driven offers</li><li>Create strong, distinctive crop campaigns</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Additional Information</u></strong><p><br></p>Travelling up to 70% for customer & trial visits
