<strong>Overview / Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p>Wood is seeking a Technical Professional III – Process (Engineer) in South Jordan, UT to apply chemical engineering practices and principles. Create and review basic design, drawings and specifications typically involving existing technology or applications. Ensure projects meet specifications, standards and performance requirements with the area of process expertise. May serve as a lead engineer on small projects without technical complexity and may review work of other engineers.<p><br></p>Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.<p><br></p>Hiring entity: Amec Foster Wheeler USA Corporation, a Wood company<p><br></p><strong>Skills / Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><strong> MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: </strong><p><br></p>Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field and 4 years’ experience in job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires:<p><br><br></p><ul><li> Applying understanding of internal economic factors affecting assignment areas, costs, margins, and profit impact of decisions; </li><li> Applying understanding of engineering requirements to calculate and describe phase behavior, thermodynamic phenomena, fluid flow, and basic unit operations as well as basic properties of materials of construction, and translating this understanding into drawings and schematics; </li><li> Creating functional and cost effective designs/processes that meet complex specification requirements; </li><li> MS Office programs and coding, process simulation software, and trouble-shooting simulations and other computer issues; </li><li> CAD and Database systems related to process functions; and </li><li> Preparing accurate, effective, complete and easily understood written communications and reports. <br></li></ul><p><br></p>TO APPLY: Click “Apply Online”.
