- Develop and implement cost control procedures and systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project costs
- Lead a team of cost control professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and maintain project cost estimates and budgets
- Monitor and report on project costs, identifying and analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions as needed
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input and support to project managers
- Develop and maintain cost databases and forecasting models
- Review and approve invoices, change orders, and other project-related expenses
- Conduct regular cost control training and ensure that team members are up to date on relevant procedures and systems
- Ensure that cost control activities comply with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
- Participate in the development of proposals and bids, providing cost estimates and technical expertise as needed
