Job Description
- Prepare the scope of work for Facility Management department according to business requirements.
- Participate in preparation of the required budget.
- Review the payment certificates & variation orders to service providers.
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule & plans).
- Provide technical recommendation during all maintenance stages.
- Provide the value engineering proposals for cost reduction with optimal solutions & minimum costs.
- Provide proposals for energy saving to be applied to the company facilities.
- Determines and secures appropriate resources for maintenance.
- Site visitation to make sure that the Planned Preventive Maintenance, details and corporate identity are implemented.
- Participate in the handing over of the work with projects department after carrying out renovation works (new or major) and construction of new facilities.
- Participate in negotiation with service providers.
- Meet with end users to get their requirements and discuss updated status of the work orders and reports.
- Reporting progress against all plans at a directorate level and to the relevant meetings, boards and other external bodies.
- Review the technical documents such as reports, quotations, etc., submitted by the service providers to ensure that it is as per the approved methodologies and business requirements.
- Monitor the compliance of deliverables to be in line with End-User inputs & ALJ requirements.
- Assistance in defining and implementation of the maintenance-related policies and procedures, and to promote the use of best practice for general Facility Management.
- Develop and maintain the Facility Management plan to ensure that agreed FM timescales are adhered to.
- Prepare and update the weekly reports for the planned preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities to be provided to Facility Management.
- Ensure Facility Management methodologies are deployed to achieve service standards, identifying milestones, measures, impact and outcomes.
Skills
- Excellent technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical operation, preventive maintenance and repair processes.
- High proficiency in computer operation and MS Office package software.
- Excellent knowledge with the current and common ERP software (i.e., CAFM, Oracle, etc.).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- At least above 5 years’ experience in the field of Preventive Maintenance management and Project Management.
