<strong>Company Description</strong><p><br></p>Company Name: SOMA Architecture<p><br></p>website: www.soma.us<p><br></p><strong>Job Description</strong><p><br></p><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Development of Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detail Design and Construction Documentation. </li><li> Provide design solutions and drive the project(s) from inception to various stages until handover. </li><li>Production of detailed drawings. </li><li> Ensuring tasks allocated is completed &amp; delivered with quality after a self-check. </li><li>Creates detailed plans integrating engineering, electrical, and HVAC considerations for review and approval. </li><li>Knowledge of updated UAE authority regulations (GFA, BUA etc. measurement criteria) and relevant standards and codes. </li><li>Ensure knowledge of all applicable Authority Guidelines, Codes &amp; International Standards.1Prepare drawings and documents for tendering and construction. </li><li>Specification writing, up to date knowledge of materials and their applications. </li><li>Knowledge of LOD stages. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Building Information Modelling:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Expertise in Revit Architecture in drafting, designing and building modeling</li><li>Experience with BIM, Revit families &amp; BIM protocols. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Skills:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Be inventive, imaginative and creative</li><li>Strong visual awareness and an eye for detail</li><li>Sketching skills, with the ability to work in 3D</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li>Solution-orientated approach</li><li> Good analytical skill</li><li>Team player that can also work independently</li></ul><p><br></p>Software Skills:<p><br></p><ul><li>Revit Architecture</li><li>AutoCAD</li><li> Lumion</li><li>Photoshop</li><li>In Design</li><li>Illustrator</li><li>MS Office</li></ul> Qualifications<p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required, Master’s degree preferred</li><li> 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in UAE is a must. </li><li>Proven experience working on big scale projects. </li></ul><p><br></p>Additional Information<p><br></p>If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please submit your <strong>resume and portfolio</strong> (Please mention your Visa status, salary expectation and joining date) for consideration.<p><br></p>Please note that applications without a CV and portfolio will not be considered.<p><br></p>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, Thank you for your understanding.
