Job Description

Day-to-day management of inbound, outbound and housekeeping Operations in support to Supervisors. Act as second in command for Supervisors and lead the team in any activities in warehouse.

 

Essential Job Roles:

 

·        To lead team of labourers , Warehouseman and Sr. Warehouseman in meeting the needs of the Business for both Inbound / Outbound Operations

·        Ensure all incoming / outgoing goods are placed on the correct pallet type.

·        Carry out random inspection audits for packaging and labeling quality

·        Reports to Supervisors all items that have packaging defects / damage (KPI).

·        Responsible for ensuring 100% pallet label accuracy and report deviation via KPI

·        Provision of management information eg operations KPI’s to meet all reporting requirements

·        Participation in internal /external reviews as required

·        Provides feedback on personnel performance which will be a support documentation for the promotion and incentives

·        Support the Superior in achieving daily task targets set by Management

·        Enforcing good practice amongst Team Leaders and Operations Staff

·        When required, will assume / do other warehouse role / activities as per Management / Superior’s requirement

Skills

Able to meet Performance Standards

Good reporting skills required

Forklift driving ( Advantage)

Health & Safety Knowledge & Adherence (including compactor operation)

Basic Computers Skills (Excell / powerpoint)

Good Communication skills – able to read and write in English

SAP Knowledge required

Flexible/Enthusiastic – no issues on shifting timing
