<p>The UAE’s award-winning Business Setup Consultancy, Creative Zone is expanding across the Middle East by providing an end-to-end solution, right from setting up a business to help growing and sustaining them within this fast moving market.</p><p><br></p><p>Due to this exciting growth we are looking for an experienced Tax and Accounting Advisor to join our expanding Tax and Accounting team in Dubai. In this role you will be responsible for acting as a senior Accountant role for Finance, and Advisor role for Tax &amp; Accounting Operations, managing a portfolio of premium clients assigned.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>To join our team you will have:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>A university graduate in Finance and Accounting</li><li>ACCA/ CA / CPA /CMA qualified</li><li>Previous experience in an accounting firm in a client facing role.</li><li>Have good knowledge of Finance &amp; Operations related to Tax &amp; Accounting</li><li>Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.</li><li>Quality standards and quality assurance policy and procedure.</li><li>Proficient in VAT and Tax Computations.</li><li>Proficient in IFRS, Tax laws and regulations</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong> Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Finance </strong></p><ul><li>Maintaining Day to Day Accounts, prepare receipt, payment, and journal vouchers</li><li>Banking Transactions, Bank Reconciliation and Payable accounts reconciliations</li><li>Effective cash flow management, Budgeting &amp; Analysis</li><li>Maintain petty cash transaction and statement</li><li>Manage financial department with responsibility for Accounts Payable/ Receivable</li><li>Prepare Daily/weekly/monthly sales reports for the management</li><li>Supporting team members on all Accounting &amp; Tax related issues</li><li>Prepare payment for suppliers and aging analysis of debtors</li><li>Assisting Finance Manager in finalization of monthly closing</li><li>Handling internal and external audit work support to solve the query and providing necessary document</li><li>Coordinating with intercompany for reconciliation and timely closing of books.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Operations</strong></p><ul><li>Interacting with clients, handling their queries &amp; issues. Keeping record of client accounts</li><li>Maintaining competency in dealing with clients and keep updated on the laws and regulations.</li><li>Providing advisory &amp; consultation to clients regarding VAT/CT and Accounting compliance.</li><li>Ensuring the clients are updated regarding the Tax &amp; Compliance requirements and minimize their exposure to potential penalties.</li><li>Bookkeeping. Payables &amp; Receivables Management</li><li>Maintaining Petty Cash. Liaising with the banks on daily deposits</li><li>Preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals or small businesses.</li><li>Helping taxpayers by using their federal, state, and local codes and see to it that clients receive the maximum benefit permitted under the law of government</li><li>Uncovering potential deductions and credits. Advise against potential tax liabilities</li><li>Ensuring clients do not pay unnecessary taxes</li><li>Reviewing financial records such as income statement and documentation of expenditures</li><li>Interviewing Clients to get a thorough picture of financial situation</li><li>Verifying totals on past forms for accuracy. Calculate and invoice for form preparation fees</li><li>Consult tax law handbooks for especially difficult tax returns</li><li>Resolving customer complaints.
