<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced, motivated, high-performing, quick-learning, and passionate systems administrator to join our team to support our customer’s command and control system. </p><p><br></p><p>To apply for this role you need to be an <strong>Emirati </strong>to apply for this role </p><p><br></p><p>The Systems Administrator will work within the Infrastructure Support Team to provide on-going operations and maintenance support of the Emirates Air Defense Ground Environment – Transformation (EADGE-T) Information Technology (IT) equipment and software, set-up administrator and service accounts, perform system tuning, perform diagnostics, install system updates, perform backups, and maintain system configuration/installation documentation:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Systems IT Design</li><li>Baseline Control</li><li>System Integration &amp; Interfaces</li><li>Systems Test</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required skills, qualifications and experience</strong></p><p>Candidate must have a keen interest and understanding of how operational IT systems work and be motivated by troubleshooting issues and creating system solutions for challenging problems. With a logical and careful approach to analyzing requirements, creating appropriate designs and developing implementation solutions, as well as an understanding of the role of test in ensuring delivery of mature products.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Manage User accounts and Access to the EADGE-T, and Development computer systems</li><li>Maintain and Install system updates and builds</li><li>Maintain and update automated system maintenance processes</li><li>Maintain and repair system software items (databases, installations, COTS products)</li><li>Monitor the system’s operational performance and detect issues that may cause service disruption</li><li>Perform error detection and fault correction</li><li>Perform backups, archives, recovery, and restoration of the system in accordance with Technical Manuals, Operating Instructions, and Checklists</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair user issues with the system</li><li>Occasional domestic and international travel to remote sites is required</li><li>Ability to support off-nominal work hours to support mission needs (night and weekends)</li></ul><p> </p><p>Required Skills, qualifications, and experience</p><ul><li>Ability to work well in a team environment</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and manage own time to meet program needs</li><li>Problem determination &amp; resolution</li><li>IT skills in a range of SW packages</li><li>Highly reliable, secure, geographically dispersed network architecture and network management tools, and network devices.</li><li>Experience integrating new systems or components into an operational system, including occasional troubleshooting and reverse engineering</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience with the following:</strong></p><ul><li>Red Hat Systems Administration</li><li>Red Hat enterprise Linux 7</li><li>Windows Systems Administration</li><li>Virtualization Systems Administration</li><li>Domain Level Authentication and Single Sign On (SSO)</li><li>VMware ESXi &amp; vSphere</li><li>Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)</li><li>Storage (NAS, SAN or similar)</li><li>Shell scripting knowledge</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desired Skills</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Knowledgeable in the following:</p><ul><li>Air and Missile Defense</li><li>Operational and Tactical Command and Control (C2)</li><li>Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR)</li><li>Modeling and Simulation</li><li>Microsoft Active Directory</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Experience with the following:</p><ul><li>Tactical data Links, preferably: Link-16 and Link-11</li><li>Fixed and mobile command centers, including supporting coalition/expeditionary operations</li><li>VMware Horizon</li><li>VMware vSAN</li><li>Microsoft Active Directory</li><li>Red Hat Identity Management (IdM)</li><li>Red Hat Satellite</li><li>Windows Server 2012 &amp; 2016</li><li>Windows 10 &amp; 7 </li><li>Centralized Logging Solutions such as WebNMS or SPLUNK</li><li>Deployment Automation using DevOps tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef</li><li>Experience in managing and maintaining RedHat Linux and Unix Operating systems</li><li>Experience in Network Interfaces, Addressing, and naming services operation</li><li>Experience in Computing and Networking Security Management Processes</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Familiarity with the following;</p><ul><li>Cybersecurity and multiple security enclaves</li><li>Junos Space</li><li>McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator</li><li>Application Servers JBoss, Tomcat</li><li>VOIP systems such as Avaya and Quintron</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Business Environment</strong></p><p>Lockheed Martin is a dynamic, growing, and energetic organisation offering stimulating, challenging work at the forefront of technology with over 100,000 staff globally.
