System Engineer – Wintel Admin

Skills

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Minimum 6 years of with server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).

Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (such as Windows Server 2019, 2016, or 2012 R2) and related technologies.

Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other core Windows server services.

Solid understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and LAN/WAN concepts.

Familiarity with storage technologies, backup solutions, and disaster recovery strategies.

Knowledge of security practices and tools for Windows server hardening and protection.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or MCSE: Core Infrastructure are a plus.
