System Admin Wintel for all Infrastructure operations

Database operation SOW
• Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Tune and Monitor database performance and optimize query execution for improved efficiency.
• Tune and Configure database parameters to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage database storage and capacity planning to accommodate data growth.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, such as data corruption or performance bottlenecks, etc.…
• Monitor database health and performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization activities to enhance overall system performance.
• Test and document database recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Maintain backup and recovery documentation and update it as necessary.
• Create and maintain database scripts, stored procedures, and functions.
• Document and communicate database-related incidents, problems, and resolutions.
• Participate in meetings such as change requests and provide expertise on database-related topics.
• Build and administer consolidated MSSQL databases and all other standalone databases
• Collaborate with the company stakeholders to define, develop, and maintain the organization’s backup strategy.
• Tune and monitor backup systems, software, and infrastructure.
• Ensure proper integration with existing IT systems and networks.
• Schedule and manage backup jobs according to the defined strategy.
• Monitor backup operations to ensure successful completion and troubleshoot any issues.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as applying updates and patches to backup software and hardware.
• Follow and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Test backup and recovery processes periodically to ensure their effectiveness.
• Respond to data loss incidents promptly and initiate data recovery procedures.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to restore data and systems to their previous state.
• Verify data integrity and completeness after restoration.
• Provide recommendations for optimizing backup processes and infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of backup processes, configurations, & procedures.
• Participate in backup-related projects and initiatives to enhance the organization’s overall data protection capabilities.
• Generate regular reports on backup activities, system health, & compliance with backup policies.
• Suggest upgrade plans based on data growth.
• Must possess and ensure advance expertise across infrastructure, platforms and software
• Must establish process driven approach and automation to manage organization assets
• Must implement automation process to build new VM.
• Must implement automation process to do OS patching.
• Must follow pro-active approach for continuous improvement across all delivery modules
• Establish a process to deploy patches, build a robust patch cycle to meet business requirements
• Possess advance scripting capabilities to automate the repetitive tasks and reduce human efforts (agent deployment, fixing issues, Orchestration etc.)
