<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The objectives and goals the swimming coach establishes should reflect the needs of the swimmers, the needs of the team and the needs of the program.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The coach will have many specific objectives, but each could probably be grouped into four major categories:&nbsp;</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;To provide personal and social development for lifetime skills.&nbsp;</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;To develop and improve the technical and physical skills of swimming.&nbsp;</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;To provide a fun and enjoyable environment.&nbsp;</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;To orient young people to assist achieving their goals.&nbsp;</p><p>.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Swim coaching for daily swimming lessons / group classes</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Coach for swim camps if and when requested to do so, including swimming development and promotion</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure sufficient time is spent planning and preparing for swimming sessions at the appropriate swimming level</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Identify participants’ swimming abilities</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Advertising for all “Advantage Sports Services” swim programs</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure safety standards are followed in all sessions&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure that life-saving equipment is in working order&nbsp;</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide explanations and demonstrate swimming techniques to students</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Set ground rules before each session&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Correct faults in swimming techniques and identify ways to improve performance&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Evaluate sessions and give feedback after each session to the respective parents / students&nbsp;</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Working a minimum of 5 days per week (30 hours in total)</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist with creating the top Swimming Development Program within Abu Dhabi.</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure all swimming sessions are taught by “Advantage” is of the highest calibre at all times.</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist assembling a complete swimming program offering private lessons, group lessons and swim camps for all standards and also adapt other ideas.</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Promote Advantage Sports sponsorship brands.</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;To be a point of contact between clients and the Managing Director and assist if and when necessary.</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;To assist in locating and setting up new projects.</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Increase revenue for the tennis section of “Advantage Sports Services”.</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Help liaise with swim authorities to improve swim programs and standards in the UAE.</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist in swimming promotions, clinics, open days without hesitation</p><p><strong>Personal Specifications&nbsp;</strong></p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Interest and ability in swimming&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Good spoken English communication skills&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;The ability to inspire confidence and motivate swimmers&nbsp;</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Perseverance and patience is extremely important</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;The ability to encourage people and put them at ease&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>§&nbsp;&nbsp;Qualification/s from an internationally recognized training school (as applicable to your role) in one or more of the following:</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;i.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Learn to swim</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;ii.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Infant Aquatics</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;iii.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Stroke development</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;iv.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Aqua Tone</p>
