Sustainability Manager

Job Description

<p>Main Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Develop and implement sustainability policies, programs, and initiatives in alignment with company goals.</li><li>Develop and manage budgets for sustainability programs and initiatives.</li><li>Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement across the company’s environmental, social, and governance performance.</li><li>Writing reports about environmental impacts of operations and making recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Collaborating with other managers to develop company-wide sustainability initiatives such as recycling programs, etc.</li><li>Coordinating projects with contractors to ensure that construction projects meet environmental standards.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations by working with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other stakeholders</li><li>Creating plans for reducing the organization’s carbon footprint through conservation measures such as recycling, using green technology.</li><li>Creating metrics to track progress towards goals such as greenhouse gas emissions reduction or water conservation goals.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Ideal Candidate:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in sustainability, environmental studies, or a similar field. </li><li>At least 5 years’ experience working in sustainability.</li><li>Strong project management and research skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul>
