<p><strong><u>Job Purpose</u></strong></p><ul><li>As a Sustainability Engineer, you will play a vital role in promoting and implementing sustainable practices within our organization’s engineering projects and operations. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, develop, and oversee the implementation of sustainable initiatives, energy-efficient technologies, and environmentally conscious practices. You will collaborate with various teams to optimize processes, reduce waste, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Your expertise will contribute to our efforts to achieve sustainability goals and reduce our ecological footprint.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Qualification: </u></strong></p><ol><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. A Master’s degree in Sustainability or Environmental Engineering is a plus.</li><li>Proven experience in sustainability engineering, energy management, LEED Certification etc.</li><li>Knowledge of sustainable design principles, renewable energy systems, and green building standards (e.g., LEED, ESTIDAMA).</li><li>Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability certifications.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret energy data and identify opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.</li><li>Problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose and implement innovative sustainable solutions.</li><li>Passion for sustainability and a commitment to promoting environmentally responsible practices.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Experience and Skills:</u></strong></p><ol><li>3 to 7 Years in Sustainability Engineering, Energy Management and Green Building Certifications such as LEED. </li><li>LEED AP O&amp;M Certified</li><li>Well AP Certified</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Roles, Responsibilities, Duties</u></strong></p><ol><li>Lead and Manage projects related to sustainability services, which include but not limited to Green Building Services, LEED Certification, ESTIDAMA Services, Energy Modelling, Indoor Air Quality Services, and similar activities. </li><li>LEED Certification services include but not limited to conducting GAP Analysis, preparing score cards, evaluating areas of improvement, preparing ARC reports, conducting client presentations and discussions, preparing necessary documentation for LEED online submission, LEED online registration and complete certification process as prescribed by USGBC. </li><li>Prepare technical and commercial proposals for sustainable building projects seeking LEED certification or other green building certifications, aligning with client expectations and sustainability objectives.</li><li>Conduct sustainability assessments, LEED Gap analysis and analyze project designs to identify areas for LEED compliance and improvements in energy efficiency, water conservation, waste reduction, transportation, and indoor environmental quality.</li><li>Collaborate with FM engineers, and construction teams to integrate sustainable design principles into building plans, specifications, and construction practices.</li><li>Prepare and submit LEED documentation for project certification, including scorecards, calculations, reports and supporting materials.</li><li>Participate in LEED certification review meetings, addressing queries and providing required documentation and clarifications.</li><li>Perform on-site inspections, measurements, and audits to ensure compliance with LEED requirements during construction and commissioning phases.</li><li>Coordinate with third-party consultants, such as LEED reviewers, waste auditors, commissioning agents etc. to facilitate the LEED certification process.</li><li>Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the organization’s sustainability objectives, focusing on sustainable engineering solutions and services.</li><li>Engage with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable design practices and communicate the value of LEED certification.</li></ol><p></p>
