<p>Ajyal is a sustainability consulting based in Dubai with international partners. With an unparalleled experience in sustainable finance, capital markets, legal and regulatory the Ajyal team works to support banks, financial institutions, corporates, investors, funds and asset managers on their sustainability journey. We also work closely with regulators and financial markets and industry associations on sustainability regulations and initiatives using our strong experience to help advance these regulations and services in a ways that benefits the development of the sustainable finance markets. </p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for mid-level to senior consultant on flexible basis to join our team. There are a wide range of exciting sustainability related projects that you will be able to get involved in, across many sectors although we tend to focus on banking and finance, capital markets and regulatory work.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Areas we advise on include:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>路 ESG and climate strategies <span>for financial services and corporate clients.</span></p><p><span>路 Sustainable Finance frameworks and products</span></p><p>路 Capital and financial markets ESG related regulations</p><p>路 Sustainable Finance regulatory developments relevant to MENA</p><p>路 ESG governance and broader risk management</p><p>路 Responsible, sustainable and impact investment strategies and implementation</p><p>路 Reporting and disclosure, including the application of GRI and ISSB/TCFD.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>路 Deliver key projects for our clients on the wide range of topics that we work on in the sustainable finance and ESG space.</p><p>路 Create innovative and commercial insights and solutions for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational and cultural needs.</p><p>路 Driving projects to completion making sure that the work delivered is industry leading.</p><p>路 Work as part of teams on engagements, keeping a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, and escalate issues as appropriate.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Preferred qualifications</strong></p><p><br></p><p> We are particularly interested in individuals that have the following qualifications and experiences:</p><p><br></p><ul><li> Banking, Finance and auditing background</li><li> Exposure to Tcfd, SASB (IFRS)</li><li> Net zero strategies and emissions calcualtions</li></ul><p><br></p><p>We also welcome applicants with </p><p>- Strong academic record including a relevant degree within the fields of social sciences: economics, business or finance.</p><p>- Project management skills: more than 3 years of experience (consultancy, regulatory, investment firm or other relevant organizations)</p><p>- Experience in sustainability / ESG at a top-tier consultancy, financial institution or other relevant organization.</p><p>- Experience of running, as well as, contributing to a range of projects.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Prerequisites</strong></p><p>路 A team player and knows how to communicate and work together with colleagues and clients. </p><p>路 Writing skills for sustainability reporting and analysis</p><p>路 Previous experience in project execution </p><p>路 Fluency in English is must, Arabic (spoken and written) is a plus</p><p><br></p><p> </p><p><strong>What do we offer </strong></p><p><br></p><p>1.
