<p>ONLY APPLICANTS WITH OT EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED</p><p><br></p><p><span>As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a crucial role in the surgical team, providing specialized nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. duties include:</span></p><p><br></p><ol><li>Patient Assessment: Time in time out for patients scheduled for surgery, reviewing medical histories, allergies, and pre-existing conditions. </li><li>Preparing the Operating Room: Collaborate with the surgical team to set up the operating room with the necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies. Ensure everything is sterile and ready for the procedure.</li><li>Patient Education: Provide patients with information about the surgical process, what to expect before, during, and after surgery, and address any questions or concerns they may have.</li><li>Medication Administration: Administer pre-operative medications as prescribed by the surgeon </li><li><span> Assist the surgical team during the operation by passing instruments, </span></li><li><span>Documentation: Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including pre-operative assessments, intraoperative events, and post-operative progress, in the patient’s medical record.</span></li><li><span>Infection Control: Strictly adhere to sterile techniques and infection control protocols to minimize the risk of surgical site infections.</span></li><li><span>Equipment Maintenance: Assist in cleaning and maintaining surgical equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order for each procedure.
