<strong>Overview</strong><p><br></p>The role will lead the Transportation agenda for AMESA, providing subject matter expertise and capability development, to drive AMENA MOVE productivity delivery of 7%+ AOP, across all Transportation operations.<p><br></p><strong> The role will focus on;</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Overall delivery of Quality in Transportation, Customer Service delivery, Lead Time reduction, and Operational Efficiency,</li><li>Own the Transportation Strategy Development & Roadmap execution</li><li>Developing and sustaining standardized capability in people and process,</li><li>Define the Transportation Digitization Strategy & its roll-up to the broader SPL & SC Digitized Strategies</li><li>Driving the PEP Sustainability agenda in AMESA Logistics</li><li>Leading and coordinate asset type, usage, and optimization projects and workstreams,</li><li>Understanding, interpretation, and application/risk management/mitigation of Transportation regulatory constraints, decrees, and pipeline amendments</li><li>Driving efficiency in Transportation management, transportation asset type, payload optimization, and utilization, and peak season capacity strategies</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Serve as sector lead to enable 7%+ annual productivity for the Transportation spend, ensuring best practice tools and deep dive results are built into plans and providing adhoc support to fill gaps.</li><li>Lead the qualification and deployment of Global logistics best practice tools to all applicable AMESA markets,</li><li>Ownership of the AMESA Transportation performance and productivity, including the reporting data, metrics, benchmarking, and reporting platform maintenance (partnered with AMESA Performance team)</li><li>Co-own the delivery and improvement of the key Transportation metrics and performance indicators with BU LD&T leads that drive operational costs, service, and quality</li><li>Own the transport deep dives process, continuously improving the process, executing aligned deep dives and governing execution of action plans.</li><li>Own the Strategic Transportation sourcing plans per market, including Alternative Model break- even point & opportunity/avoidance models</li><li>Owns the Transportation mapping & elements in Network Optimization baseline mapping sustainment, and scenario building concepts</li><li>Co-owns (with AMESA Warehousing lead) the inputs for key Warehouse design parameters impacting Transportation β loading docks, loading method, loading equipment, dock throughputs etc</li><li>Own the Transportation Master Data for total sector & BU-level for key reporting, analysis and strategy development</li><li>Own the Transportation Sustainability agenda, specifically Scope 2 & 3, for the AMESA sector</li><li>Coaching and development of Business Unit LD&T leads, field Logistics Managers and new field Logistics Experts.</li><li>Drive capability in People, Process, Metrics, Bidding, Asset selection/trade-offs</li><li>Lead the Transportation elements of financial tracking/management of MOVE spend visibility</li><li>Partner with Global Procurement to define and incorporate operational standards and efficiency parameters in 3PL contracts and supports to audit and sustain capability, leverage e-Bidding tools where applicable, and develop Vendor Summit strategies per market/region</li><li>Transportation efficiency & optimization is a high-stakes differentiator to PEPβs future network evolutions & strategic Cost-To-Serve levers. This role must transform the agenda at a critical pace</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or Supply Planning & Logistics</li><li>10+ years experience in physical operations experience (Warehousing, Transportation, Distribution, Express), or at least 5 years in a field and multi-country regional capability development role</li><li>Experience with both PepsiCo Food and Beverage operations advantage, FMCG required</li><li>Experience in transportation fleets in a dedicated or owned operation, with proven expertise leading innovation and operational efficiency agendas.</li><li>Project Management experience, with certification preferred</li></ul>
