Job Description
<p><strong><u>Key Accountabilities </u></strong></p><ul><li>Supervise day-to-day operations assigned for the Ducting & Insulation team to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.</li><li>Read specifications, work list and pre-planning job (Sequence of job, manpower, equipment) including plan for one-week manpower requirements.</li><li>Develop, interpret, and follow method statements and procedures in addition to understanding specifications, drawings and all other disciplines related to project and engineering documentation.</li><li>Co-ordinate work progress with SRM/PM, superintendent, other trades within his own department.</li><li>Liaise with Invoicers / estimators to ensure that department and commercial targets are synchronized and met.</li><li>Develop detailed completion program with manpower loading.</li><li>Participate in accident investigation, root cause analysis, and provide assistance in preparing necessary reports.</li><li>Review vessel repair plan, build strategies in order to formalize the optimum utilization of yard equipment and resources.</li><li>Provide personnel appraisal and training requirement, motivate, and develop subordinates.</li><li>Provide reports on man-power planning, productivity and job performance to Assistant Manager/ Manager as required.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><u>Qualificaiton / Experiences & Skills </u></strong></p><ul><li>Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent</li><li>10 yearsβ experience in Marine HVAC ducting/ insulation works with at least 5 yearsβ of experience as Supervisor or Engineer in Ship Yard</li><li>Relevant training in Insulation/ fabrication field.</li></ul><p></p>
